House Rules & Expectations
All residents are expected to follow the guidelines below to help maintain a peaceful, respectful, and supportive home environment for everyone.
Respect & Behavior
Treat others with dignity, respect, and courtesy at all times
Refrain from violence, harassment, threats, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior
Respect the personal space and privacy of others
Communicate concerns in a calm and respectful manner
Independence
Residents must be able to care for themselves to be apart of the program
No medical or clinical supervision provided
Cleanliness & Shared Responsibilities
Keep personal and shared spaces clean
Participate in maintaining a tidy home
Follow rotating chore schedule
Do not leave personal belongings in common areas
Report any issues promptly
Kitchen & Food Rules
Residents are responsible for their own meals
Personal food must be labeled
Only eat in designated eating areas
Clean up after yourself immediately after use
No eating other residents' food
Wash dishes right after use
Clean counters, stove, sink after cooking
Visitors
Guests must adhere to all house rules while on the property
Quiet hours are observed for comfort and rest
No overnight guest for residents safety and respect for one another since this is a shared living environment
Residents are responsible for the conduct of their guest
All guests must be approved or disclosed in advance
Safety & Security
Lock doors and secure the property when entering or leaving
Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns immediately
Avoid any illegal, disruptive, or unsafe behaviors on or near the premises, this is a drug free residence
Respect all safety procedures established by the program
Financial & Property Responsibility
Residents agree to:
Payments are due on agreed date each month
Respect all property and furnishings within the home
Pay for or replace anything that you damaged
Clear terms are provided before move-in with move-in packet & intake forms that must be read and signed
Private pay residents only who are receiving VA benefits, Pension, SSI, SSDI, VA Income, financial assistance from family, friends, or organizations.
Personal Space & Belongings
Residents are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their personal space
Personal items must be stored appropriately and not obstruct shared areas
The program is not responsible for lost or unattended personal belongings
Conflict Resolution
Residents are expected to address concerns respectfully and appropriately
Physical altercations or aggressive behavior are strictly prohibited
Issues should be reported to management
Agreement
By participating in this program, all residents agree to follow these rules and understand that failure to comply may result in a review of housing eligibility or removal from the program.
